Prepare a PDF packet: merge, order and number the pages
Put reports, forms and scanned attachments into a clear PDF packet. Check the page order, remove extras and apply numbering after assembly.

Start with the files the recipient actually needs
A useful document packet has a clear sequence: an introduction or cover, the main document and its supporting material. List those parts before combining them. Keep source files separately so that a mistake in the assembled copy does not become the only version you have.
Convert Word files, spreadsheets and presentations into PDFs first. For photographs of pages, Images to PDF creates a page for each image. Check that photographed text is upright and readable before adding it to the packet.
Remove extras before merging
Blank scanner pages and duplicate attachments interrupt the reading order. Remove pages when you want to discard a few positions from a document. Extract pages when you need only a small section of a larger report.
The page number you enter is the physical position in the PDF. A report’s printed page 1 may be the third page of the file because a cover and contents page come first. Use the preview to confirm the position.
Assemble and check the joins
Upload the prepared PDFs to Merge PDF and arrange their file order. The pages within each source stay together. If a section needs internal reordering, change that file first or reorder the combined result afterward.
Review the boundary between every pair of documents. Check that the last page of one section is followed by the intended first page of the next. A simple page-count check also helps: the total should match the pages you meant to include.
Add numbering after the order is final
Apply Page numbers to the finished packet. FolioSprint adds a centered footer with the page position and total. Existing printed numbering is not replaced, so inspect the footer area for overlap.
If the recipient has an attachment-size limit, compress the finished PDF and inspect its small text afterward. Keep the higher-quality original when you might need to print or revise the packet later.
Review the actual download
Do the final check in the downloaded PDF, not only the upload preview. Open the first and last pages, inspect section boundaries and confirm that all required attachments are present. Then use that reviewed copy for distribution.
