Keep the pages your reader needs
Create a focused document without sending the entire source. Enter 2-5 for a continuous section, 1,8,10 for individual pages, or 5-1 to reverse a range. Selection order is also the order in the new PDF.
Send an excerpt without the full report
Extract an appendix, a signed page or a relevant chapter for a separate attachment. Check whether other pages contain context the recipient needs. If you want to remove a small number of pages from an otherwise complete document, Remove pages may be quicker.
Before you start
Page selection uses the PDF’s actual page positions, not printed chapter numbers. Extraction is not redaction: information on the pages you keep remains present. Use permanent redaction to remove information within a retained page.
How to use Extract pages

Extract pages questions
Does extracting pages delete them from my original?
No. You receive a new PDF containing your selection. The original file on your device is unchanged.
Can I extract pages from a scan?
Yes. The page images are retained; OCR is only needed if you also want searchable text.
How is this different from Split PDF?

What happens to my files?
Files are private to your session or account. Free downloads expire after 2 hours; Pro downloads after 7 days. You can delete them sooner from your workspace.
