Bring related documents into one file
Combine an application form, supporting letter and attachments into one PDF. Move files up or down before processing: their order becomes the page order of the result. Original page dimensions are kept, so portrait and landscape pages can appear together.
Prepare one attachment
Combine a cover letter, a report and supporting scans into one attachment. If the order inside an individual PDF is wrong, use Reorder pages before merging. Different source page sizes remain useful when a packet contains both letters and receipts.
Before you start
Use at least two PDFs. Password-protected inputs must use the password entered in the options. The combined file must stay within your plan’s total page limit. Review forms and existing signatures after merging; editing a signed document can invalidate its original digital signature.
How to use Merge PDF
- Choose the PDFs
Select the documents you want to combine. Check the filenames before you start, especially when several versions have similar names.
- Put the files in order
Use the up and down controls in the file list. Pages from each file stay together in their original order.
- Merge and check
Download the combined PDF. Check the first page of each section and the final page count before sharing.

Can I combine a Word file with a PDF?
Convert the Word file with Word to PDF first, then upload the resulting PDF alongside your other documents.
Does merging reduce the file size?
Merging joins the pages; it is not a compression step. If the combined attachment is too large, run the result through Compress PDF.
How many PDFs can I merge?
Free processing accepts up to 5 input files per task; Pro accepts up to 20. Individual file and PDF page limits still apply.
What happens to my files?
Files are private to your session or account. Free downloads expire after 2 hours; Pro downloads after 7 days. You can delete them sooner from your workspace.
