What we process

We process the documents you upload to perform the task you request. Account details include your email, optional profile name and a securely hashed password when you set one. We keep task metadata, usage counts and billing references to operate the service and enforce limits.

Service providers

The application runs on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany. Cloudflare provides DNS, security and traffic delivery. Stripe processes payments; we do not receive full card details. OpenAI receives extracted document text only when you submit an AI task with consent. Cloudflare Email Service delivers account messages and routes support email to our support inbox.

Spam protection

Cloudflare Turnstile checks technical browser and device signals, including your IP address, to protect forms and document processing from automated abuse. Your document contents, passwords and message text are not sent for this check. Cloudflare Turnstile privacy information.

Connected sign-in accounts

When you choose Google sign-in, Firebase Authentication verifies the provider identity. We receive your verified email address, provider identifier and any name shared by the provider. Document files are not sent to Firebase for sign-in. You can add a password in Sign-in & security. Deleting your FolioSprint account also removes its connected Firebase user record.

Retention and deletion

Free output files are retained for up to 2 hours and Pro output files for up to 7 days, subject to periodic cleanup. Original uploads are removed after processing. You can delete files immediately. Security and usage records may be kept for up to 90 days. Billing records may require longer retention. Encrypted database backups are kept locally and in private Cloudflare R2 storage in the EU for 14 days. Provider server backups may also contain earlier data; deletion takes effect as their rolling backup cycle expires. Deleted or expired task metadata is removed after 30 days.

Analytics and cookies

Essential cookies maintain sessions and protect requests. Optional Google Analytics is loaded only after your choice. Analytics events include the tool used and whether a task started or completed, never document contents, filenames, email addresses or account identifiers. You can change your choice through Cookie settings.

Your choices

You can delete document tasks, change your password, cancel a subscription and export your account data or delete your account from Account settings. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling an account request.
